for my friend who brought me chocolate milk and beautiful flowers.

for my husband who made me soup and babied me.

for the kind words and tips on this little blog of mine.

for my pup who gave me cuddles.

for netfix for keeping me entertained for hours.

for pretty little liars.

for pain medication.

for fruit juice.

thankful that the widsom teeth are gone!

So thankful for all the wonderful people I have in my life. They made this process almost enjoyable ;).

It is happening. I cannot avoid it any longer. I am getting my widsom teeth removed... tomorrow! I have my fridge stocked with juice and my freezer stocked with ice cream. I have my favorite comfy clothes, some pretty great friends who are going to take care of me tomorrow and a pretty great husband who better pamper me this weekend ;)

surprise trip ((part 2))

The fun continued that night in destin. It was chilly out, but that meant there was not many people around, and I felt like the place was ours. We walked around and talked about past memories, warmed our hands by the fire and ate at the funky blues shack. At dinner we drank some delicious draft beer, played trivia games ((that they provided at the table)) and stayed an hour after we had finished our dinner because we were having way too much fun. I didnt want the night to end.

The husband came home from work on friday and said, "pack your bags we are headed to destin!"

I. was. thrilled.

one of the stops on  my surprise trip was baytown warf. 

we started the day off with a bloody mary.

ate delicious food.

walked around.

enjoyed the views.

and most of all.. enjoyed each others company.

It was pretty wonderful.

Grilled Cheese Food Truck

My friends and I went to the beach today!

At the beach we stopped at a food truck

ate a DElicious goat cheese/proscuitto sandwich

 posed for the camera. (( how cool is this kid!))

played in the sand

and drank Mimosas.

days like this make me very happy!

We are moving in less than 2 months! This means that it is nearly time to begin packing. Now this is something that I dread ((I am sure I am not alone in this!)). Since packing is such a large task I am trying to get a head start. 

My first mission: De-clutter!

At first this task sounded easy, but I am quickly realizing this is not the case. 

Luckily, I found a great website that is going to help me with my goal!

Hello February

 I cannot believe it is already February! I love this month. Any month that is dedicated to love is a winner in my book ;). I also love decorating so a new month calls for new decor! I got a tip from a friend that target had these amazing felt hearts and I knew I needed them. I love how they look against my antique door!
